Unlimited (Pseudo) Bone Layers

Blender armatures/rigs currently have a 32 layer limit, and doesn't allow naming. There was talk of giving it something like 2.8's Collections upgrade, to remove this limit but as of yet, this is unavailable. 

This addon simulates unlimited layers.
